Job Description

• Maintains Residential Living resident files. Performs all functions related to input of monthly resident billing charges for Residential Living. Distributes accurate resident billing statements by the second business day of the month. Consistently establishes and maintains a positive relationship with the residents and/or their responsible parties in regard to the billing process. Runs month end reports.
• Prepares daily bank deposits. Post cash receipts to resident accounts. Maintain A/R aging reports for Residential Living.
• Assist with the matching of approved purchase orders with vendor invoices, reviews accounts payable invoices for accuracy, G/L coding and amounts for correctness and enters into the A/P system for payment. Maintains a positive relationship with the vendors.
• Assists the Accounting Director in the day to day coordination of the department. Communicates necessary information in a timely manner. Maintains support documents and storage binders in an orderly fashion and is responsible for filing all paperwork in the proper place. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

• A degree in Accounting or at least 1 year of experience in an accounting position.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills required.
• Legally Authorized to work in the United States
