Position summary Vanguard Cleaning Systems®, an independently owned and operated master franchise company, has an immediate opening for a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join its regional office. Full Benefit Package for all full-time employees. This position will be responsible for assisting in all accounting functions of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong accounting background, good multi tasking skills, enjoys taking ownership and who also enjoys working with diverse individuals in a fast paced environment. Pay * $45,000 - $55,000 / year Benefits

Essential Functions

• Recording Processes
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Credit and Collections
• Follow processes and procedures
• General Ledger Adjustments
• Working in cooperation with the Sales and Operations Management to help achieve financial objectives and to develop tools for tracking established objectives and reports to indicate levels of profitability and group achievements.
• Monthly Financial Statement preparation
• Establishing and maintaining major account reconciliations.
• Financial set-up and startup of new accounts with Sales/Operations Management.
• Preparing and/or reviewing new contract paperwork with/for accuracy and professionalism.
• Making recommendations concerning effective financial methods and techniques.
• Performing other general office duties as may be assigned by Management.

Desired Experience/Skills

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Solid interpersonal and Organizational skills
• Willing to do what is needed or requested
• Strong ability to work as a team player and add insight where needed
• Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Intuit Quickbooks )
• Telephone Skills
• Experience With Intuit Quickbooks or similar software is essential
• Strong Communication Skills
• Trustworthy
• Customer Service Skills
• Self Starting abilities
