Position Overview

Exteriors Plus, a leader in providing high-quality roofing, siding, and exterior services, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Controller Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Controller to manage financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support overall fiscal management. This is a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management : Assist with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Record Keeping : Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Payroll Support : Assist in processing payroll, tracking employee hours, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
• Budget Assistance : Help prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Vendor Relations : Manage communication with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.
• Compliance : Ensure all financial practices align with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Reporting : Generate regular financial reports and assist in preparing data for audits.
• Administrative Support : Perform general administrative tasks related to financial operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience : 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role. Experience in construction or home improvement industries is a plus.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software.
• Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Teamwork : Works well in a team environment and collaborates with other departments as needed.
