Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of manufacturing costs, and supporting financial decision-making. You will manage cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities, and collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, labor and overhead analysis, and cost of goods sold.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to production costs.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights into cost trends and potential savings.
• Develop and maintain cost models for products and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
