Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory equipment in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This full-time role requires frequent travel (up to 80%) to offsite laboratories and occasional weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and train Field Service Engineers.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on laboratory instrumentation.
Provide direct technical support to clients via phone and onsite visits.
Schedule and conduct new equipment installations, training, and validations.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of service activities.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Quality, and Management to meet company goals.
Maintain compliance with Quality System objectives and escalation protocols.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 6 years in laboratory equipment maintenance, with expertise in LC/MS, MS (Agilent, AB Sciex, Waters, Shimadzu preferred).
Skills: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Additional Information:

Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and working with untested patient samples.
Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
