  IT Security Manager

Location: Temple Hills, MD (Hybrid, 3 days on-site)

Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000 (Annual)

Employment Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned IT Security Manager to lead the cybersecurity efforts at our organization. This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional with extensive hands-on experience and a strong background in managing security operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, managing daily operations, building a cybersecurity team, and leading incident response initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Lead the daily security operations and incident response strategies.
• Architect, design, and deploy cybersecurity systems at an executive level.
• Manage and mentor a growing team of cybersecurity professionals.
• Communicate security risks, updates, and strategies to senior leadership and other stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10-15 years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a management or director role leading teams, projects, and systems.
• Education: Master’s Degree preferred.
• Certifications: PMP and multiple certifications from the following: CISSP, SSCP, CRISC, CISCO CCNA, MCSE, Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer, Azure Administrator Associate, MS365 Certified Security Admin.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in Azure network security and legal/regulatory aspects of cybersecurity.
• Technology Experience: Proficiency with tools and technologies such as Crowdstrike, Mimecast, M365 security, Palo Alto Networks, InTune, ManageEngine, Pentera, Imperva, VPNs, Firewalls, MFA, and SSO.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work model requiring three days of on-site work at one of our offices in Temple Hills, MD , Fort Collins, CO , or Goodlettsville, TN. .The candidate must live near one of the locations.
