REPORTS TO: Production Manager

• Semiconductor Equipment Operations.
• Leadership of operators.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

• Operations of Sputter Deposition Equipment.
• Basic Assembly Skills.
• In Process Inspection.
• Packaging parts as required.
• Clean Room Skills.
• Package and Handling of assorted customer product.
• Use of Metrology equipment as defined.
• Ability to manage workloads for yourself and others.
• Leadership skills (small group people skills).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. 
• Skills: Has a working knowledge of basic vacuum and semiconductor processing techniques. Has the ability to read and follow both written and verbal instructions. 
• Clean room experience and has the ability to work with little or no supervision. 
• Understands production and quality practices. Can interact with others and lead in a productive manner.
• Experience on Perkin Elmer Series 4400 sputtering systems a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Based on experience and responsibilities, lead operators are required to lead and train other, less skilled operators on the various tasks required.
• Performance measurements for this position are based on maintaining production criteria relating to on time delivery and quality goals as stated, as well as leadership within the production group.
• NON-Exempt Position.
