Position, Department: Librarian, Academic Affairs

Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Wednesday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM, 15 hours per week

Pay Range: $22.65-$29.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Benefits Category: Partial benefits

Position Summary: Recommend, interpret, and locate library-offered information resources of all types to help faculty and students further teaching and learning.

Required Qualifications:

• Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline.
• Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.
• Requires a Master's Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide reference services in-person and online using various mediums and sources for accessing research.
• Develop and provide library and information literacy instruction to individuals and classes.
• Select books and online resources to build organized collections.
• Design and update online/electronic and print guides to improve access and use of information, including but not limited to the navigation of databases, style and format guides, subject and course-specific guides,
