The Marketing Manager leads the Marketing team, providing coaching, setting KPIs, and managing career development. They oversee the team’s budget, Hubspot account, and data insights, while driving strategic planning and optimizing campaigns. The role involves aligning marketing efforts with company goals, staying updated on emerging technologies, and leading key projects to support the company’s growth. We anticipate the right person to continue their individual growth and become our next Director of Marketing within 12-18 months!

Requirements

People Management:

  • Hold bi-weekly one-on-ones with Marketing team members to provide support, coaching, and direction on each individual’s tasks and career path
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for Marketing team members, collaborating with the other Revenue teams for alignment and shared success
  • Partner and guide Marketing team members on building growth plans to develop and advance in their careers
  • Plan for team capacity and future headcount needs of the Marketing Team

Marketing Management:

  • Maintain Marketing team budget, including planning and tracking financials related to ad spend, events, Marketing-specific software costs, and general team expenses
  • Manage company Hubspot account, including reporting and maintaining data hygiene to allow for actionable data-driven decision making
  • Build processes and procedures for the Marketing team that align with department and company goals
  • Lead projects from a high-level as well as attend in-person events with support from Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Strategy:

  • Lead Marketing strategic planning on an annual, quarterly, and on-going basis
  • Maintain a broad and deep understanding of company-wide initiatives and their impact, as well as Marketing’s impact, on these goals
  • Analyze industry trends, market data, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve ROI
  • Stay current on emerging marketing technologies and platforms to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years experience managing a Marketing team for a medium or large company

  • Minimum five years experience developing KPIs for all functional areas of Marketing

  • Experience with both SaaS and hardware marketing strategies

  • Experience with brand and campaign management as well as partnerships

  • Experience partnering with Sales and Customer Success teams to achieve revenue goals

  • High critical thinking skills with an innovative and strategic mindset

  • Knowledge of project management processes to support front line team member execution

  • Extensive experience with Hubspot, Click up and Shopify

  • US-based candidates must live in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Wyoming
