Part Time Corporate Marketing and Sales Coordinator Location Syracuse, NY :

Gear Motions is a successful, growing progressive ISO 9000 registered precision gear manufacturing employee-owned company - seeks a part time Corporate Marketing and Sales Coordinator. This position has a flexible schedule Monday thru Friday averaging 20 hours per week. The Corporate Marketing and Sales Coordinator has the responsibility to create, update, and maintain tools to assist the Business Development Team in their efforts to drive sales at Gear Motions and increase the sales funnel. Through use of traditional (print advertising) and non-traditional (digital advertising) marketing, increase awareness and market penetration to enhance Gear Motions presence within the gear manufacturing industry and ensure Gear Motions is seen in the marketplace as a market leader.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain social media platforms for the Company by coordinating social media campaigns and managing all social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, etc.).
  • Create and implement e-mail campaigns and coordinate e-mail programs in all Company markets.
  • Develop a strategic market direction to guide decision-making regarding future acquisitions.
  • Ad creation and act as a liaison with outside advertising agencies.
  • Assist in market research to identify new market opportunities, while maintaining an understanding of current customer market conditions.
  • Content creation for blogs, newsletter, and social media accounts.
  • Update and maintain website content to ensure content is accurate, effective, and current.

Sales Support:

  • Follow customer sales and marketing trends by entering prospects into the company's CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Assist Business Development manager in measuring and evaluating sales productivity to determine areas in need of improvement.
  • Develop sales colleterial for tradeshows and other Corporate events.
  • Participate effectively in Department/Company problem solving.**

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, and/or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years sales and marketing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills for constant effective internal and external communication ensuring optimum productivity. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the Company's manufacturing and delivery capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the computer system; ability to learn and use company programs and website analytics is essential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites including Publisher and Power Point, Adobe Creative Cloud, Word Press, Google Analytics.
  • Excellent organization evaluation and priority setting skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to effectively and appropriately deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Demonstrates dependability; responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.

Salary info:
