Job Title: Power BI Developer (US Citizens Only) Location: Remote We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to gather analyze and document data and reporting requirements.
- Create visually appealing and easytounderstand data visualizations reports and interactive dashboards.
- Develop and maintain robust scalable Power BI data models using Power Query DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power BI Desktop.
- Ensure data integrity consistency and performance optimization for reports and dashboards.
- Work with data sources such as SQL Server Azure SQL Excel and other data platforms to create and extract data for reporting purposes.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of existing reports and dashboards to improve performance and accuracy.
- Automate report generation and distribution to provide timely insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain and update Power BI solutions to align with business changes or updates to the data model.
- Provide training and support for endusers on Power BI best practices and usage.
- Create and manage Power BI workspaces datasets and permissions to ensure appropriate access control.
- Stay current with new Power BI features and best practices incorporating them into solutions as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar BI role.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field.
- Experience in Power BI development or related BI roles.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop Power BI Service and Power Query.
- Solid knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for data modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and data integration tools.
- Strong experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Expertise in designing and implementing data visualizations and interactive reports.
- Ability to troubleshoot analyze and resolve data issues.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and techniques.
- Understanding of data modeling report building and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
- Experience with Azure Power BI Services (including Power BI Premium Power BI Embedded and Power BI Report Server).
- Experience with cloudbased data sources and integration (e.g. Azure AWS or Google Cloud).
- Experience in other BI tools like Tableau Qlik or SAP BusinessObjects is a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and predictive analytics.
- Experience working with large datasets and implementing solutions in a highperformance environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
