Description A fast-growing data platform startup based in NYC is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer (Back-End) to join their dynamic team.   • 7+ years of experience in building back-end applications using Node.js.
  • Proven expertise in deploying applications to AWS.
  • Predominantly a back-end role, but requires a strong understanding of front-end, data, and API interactions to ensure seamless integration.
  • Familiarity with a broader tech stack (React, TypeScript, Postgres, Grafana) is a strong advantage.
  • Looking for a senior engineer comfortable with "technical leadership" actively contributing to technical and architectural discussions and decisions, without the need for direct personnel management.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the CTO and small team of founding engineers
  • Collaborate on building APIs for new product features and experiences
  • Build the services, pipelines, and data to power new product capabilities
  • Support long-term scalability of product architecture as more users are acquired
  • Ensure code and product quality
  • Help to implement engineering best practices across development and deployment
