Job Summary

The Title Closing Officer is responsible for all aspects of the real estate closing and ensures proper disbursement of funds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares miscellaneous documents required at closing.
  • Enters closing figures; balances and funds files.
  • Ensures closing package is properly executed.
  • Attends and manages real estate closings.
  • Reviews title commitment and is responsible for collecting title clearance
  • Reviews mortgage payoffs for accuracy and transmits payoff funds.
  • Acts as the liaison between attorneys and lenders at closing.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3+ years of professional experience in the title industry
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent computer skills and technology
  • Excellent organizational skills (attention to detail).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work with confidential information and data.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
  • Dynamic personality and strong work ethic.

Salary Range:

$65,000-$70,000
